Simple Syrup

A great way to sweeten your teas or cocktails.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cold filtered water
  • 1 cup Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and set heat to medium low, stirring often.
  • The mixture will be cloudy at first then as it heats up the sugar will dissolve and become clear.
  • When you see small bubbles on the side of the pan and the mixture has become clear, turn the heat off and let cool for about 1 hour.
  • Once cooled, transfer syrup to a food safe squeeze bottle or jar.
  • Add the syrup to your favorite drink and enjoy!
