Garlic lover’s unite!  This recipe gives 3 different ways and 3 different garlic levels that the whole family will enjoy

There is nothing like a good garlic bread to go with your dinner.  Here we have 3 different ways to make garlic bread.  If you are a garlic lover, the first version is for you.  If you like garlic but don’t want your breath to smell like you just ate a bulb of it, the 2nd version is perfect!  The 3rd version is a real quick and dirty way to get garlic bread made and on the table.

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Baking Sheet:
  • Chef’s Knife: a multip purpose knife that you use to slice, dice, and chop. Usually medium to long in length.
  • Cutting Board:

Ingredients:

  • Loaf of Bread: You
  • Butter: You
  • Garlic: Usually comes in a whole bulb with multiple cloves of garlic or you can buy pre-peeled garlic. This needs to stay whole when cooking.
  • Salt: One
  • Garlic Salt: 

How to make the Garlic Bread 3 ways:

1st way:

  1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees
  2. Grab your favorite loaf of bread and cut it in half across the length of the loaf.
  3. Peel and cut one end off of the garlic.
  4. Take the cut end of the garlic and rub this all over on the inside of the loaf.
  5. Spread the butter on the inside of the loaf and place on a baking sheet with the inside of the bread facing up.
  6. Put in the oven for 15 minutes or until it starts to brown on top.
  7. Once the bread has browned, remove from the oven and let cool before slicing into individual portions.

2nd way:

  1. You will start in a similar way as the first and preheat oven at 375 degrees
  2. Grab your favorite loaf of bread and cut it in half across the length of the loaf.
  3. Peel and cut one end off of the garlic.
  4. Take the cut end of the garlic and rub this all over on the inside of the loaf
  5. Spread the butter on the inside of the loaf.
  6. Taking the same garlic, use a garlic press and press the garlic, then spread over the loaf.  (Depending on how big the loaf is, you may need 2 or 3 garlic cloves.)
  7. Sprinkle some salt on top, then place on a baking sheet with the inside of the bread facing up.
  8. Put in the oven for 15 minutes or until it starts to brown on top.
  9. Once the bread has browned, remove from the oven and let cool before slicing into individual portions.

3rd way:

  1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees
  2. Grab your favorite loaf of bread and cut it in half across the length of the loaf.
  3. Spread butter on the inside of the loaf and place the bread on a baking sheet with the inside of the bread facing up.
  4. Sprinkle garlic salt over the inside of the bread and put in the oven for 15 minutes or until it starts to brown on top.

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic If only doing a half of a loaf 1 clove is good.
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Salt
