When searching for ideas on how to incorporate a Japanese and American culture into one wedding (non-traditional), we found that there was not much information out there in terms of relatability. This didn’t stop at wedding details. We found there were not many if any at all, blogs or posts about a Japanese American interracial couple. My husband and I tend to do a lot of research in all aspects of our lives and not having something to relate to was a little frustrating. This is when we started playing with the idea of our blog.
We want to help other couples who may be in a similar situation and have that feeling of knowing there is someone else out there that understands. Whether it may be our everyday life as a couple or our mixed family adventures; as well as things we have learned along the way.
